I overlook a friend to avoid him

Where but for overlooking I'd live alone

لك عونان بالحقوق وضعفي

ولهذا قد انتصرت عليا

You have two helpers for the rights but I am weak

And so you have triumphed over me

كيف لا يغلبان ذانك مثلي

والضعيفان يغلبان قويا

How can the two of them not defeat the likes of me

When the weak can overcome the strong
