I saw the earth as a lasting sanctuary for those who strive,

For them, within its shade, lies abundant good.

Its depths hold for them a precious treasure,

And its surface is for them a soft, comfortable cradle.

The sons of Islam are most worthy to dive

Into its seas, and most deserving to take flight.

Was it not revealed to them in the Remembrance: "So walk"?

Was it not revealed to them: "Have they not traveled"?

So have they answered the call of their Creator,

Just as Mahmoud Al-Bashir has answered it?
