The people shall remember you for a long age to come,

For you are a father to their sons,

Whether you are near to them or far away,

And alive or dead, you remain their leader.

In you, we bid farewell to a peerless chieftain,

Whose glory is ours, both fresh and ancient.

You have immortalized beautiful praise, worthy of honor,

So rest in the keeping of God, O Khalid!
