My brother, Eid has come to you harbinger of good news

My brother, the Eid has come to you rejoicing,

It brings you tidings of a beautiful face

Beaming towards you with a lovely face,

So it conveys to you congratulations from

Extending to you congratulations from

A heart that harbors affection for you

A heart wherein your friendship dwells secure,

And I hope you remain in bliss

And I pray for your continuance in bliss,

With a heart and body that are healthy and sound

Wholesome in heart and sound in body,

And that you live for the likes of its likes

And may you live to see many returns like it,

Content, delighted, and long live the homeland

Content and joyous, and long live the homeland.
