We were raised to love Algeria, as youth

We grew up as youths upon the love of Algeria,

And we have no occupation but to improve it

And we have no occupation within her save for reform.

A country protected by the Atlas Mountains, it has become

A land guarded by the twin Atlas ranges, so she became

A fortress, unmatched among all fortresses

For us a fortress that, among all fortresses, has no peer.
