يجلو معانيه كالدر والماس

Revealing its meanings like gems and diamonds

Unveiling its meanings like pearls and diamonds.

أحيا الجزائر بالعرفان فانتعشت

وذاد عن حقها بالعزم والباس

He revived Algeria with wisdom so it flourished

He revived Algeria through knowledge, so it flourished,

And defended its rights with determination and courage

And defended its rights with resolve and might.

وود من شعبه أن يستجيب له

ويستنير من الذكرى بمقباس

He wanted his people to respond to him

He wished for his people to answer his call,

And be enlightened by lessons and guidance

And seek illumination from the Reminder like a torch.

فكن له سامعا إن رمت منزلة

رفيعة القدر عند الله والناس

So listen to him if you aspire to a station

So heed his words if you aspire to a station

Noble in worth with God and all people

Of high standing before God and among people.
