يا حاسبا أني أميز مسلما

عن مسلم أخطأت في الحسبان

O judge, I distinguish a Muslim

O you who thinks I distinguish one Muslim from another, you have erred in your reckoning,

From a Muslim you wrongly reckoned

If you ascribe me to any, let it be to the people of truth, for they are the ones whose faith is my faith,

إن تعزني فإلى ذوي حقيقة

وهم الألى إيمانهم إيماني

If you honor me, it is for the people of truth

My people are the children of Islam—the red, the yellow, the white, and the black.

They are those whose faith is my faith

قومي بنو الإسلام من حمر ومن

صفر ومن بيض ومن سودان

My people are the children of Islam, of red,

Of yellow, of white, and of black
