  1. رَجَعَ الْخِدِيو لِمِصْرِهِ

    وَأَتَتْ طَلائِعُ نَصْرِهِ

    The Khedive returned to his Egypt

    And vanguards of his victory came

  2. وَتَهَلَّلَتْ بِقُدُومِهِ

    فَرَحاً أَسِرَّةُ عَصْرِهِ

    And his palace rejoiced

    With his arrival, happily welcoming him

  3. فَلْتَبْتَهِجْ أَوْطَانُهُ

    بِحُلُولِهِ فِي قَصْرِهِ

    So let his homeland rejoice

    As he returns to his palace

  4. وَلْيَشْتَهِرْ تَارِيخُهُ

    رَجَعَ الْخِديو لِمِصْرِهِ

    And let the date be renowned

    The Khedive returned to his Egypt
