O dove of the valley, your company is present

And your branch is fruitful, so why do you moan?

You rose in bliss and delight this morning

Yet my heart is wounded with passion

If you can help me endure this longing, then shed

A tear, for weeping brings relief

Otherwise leave me be with your cooing and go away

For a giver is not equal to a miser
