O garden with virgin plants, Samawa's shelter,

Protecting souls from grief, averting evil,

Where the wind whistles amidst green shoots

    Covered by clouds, gaining courage,

    Capturing gazes with its blossoms

Like images that disappear with the breeze and recur,

Where the lovesick forget their inner sorrow,

Healed by rapture, and the sick recover and are cured,

    Leaves murmur, birds chirp,

    Eyes beam, and nightingales warble,

Its plants and air untouched by flaws,

A grove traveled by winds to graze

Where gazelles rest and are satisfied,

Spring opened in it schools of joy,

A joy for the eye that knows no end,

The wind writes, the stream a scroll,

    Clouds sprinkle, and doves read,

Images pointing to a Wise Maker,

God creates what He wills, and cures.
