The generous man gives freely to the noble
The generous and kind-hearted man gives openly
He gives of his wealth to gain praise
His generosity is endless like flowing water
The outpouring of his bounty cannot be counted
He fills the water-skins to overflowing again and again
Giving lavishly when a guest comes calling
Like the milk overflowing from the udder of a ewe
The more they seek from him, the more he gives freely
You have left us an inheritance free of sorrow
Wealth and fine livestock, fertile land
Valiant steeds, noble hawks, and spears
