The sons of Hurthan bore a blazing torch

At the dishonored assemblies with unbolted doors

Do not give me drink with your hands unless I seek

The bounty of meadows with plundered cattle

Their first ones guide every roaming camel

Bare like the gazelles of single men

And the cleaver of the throats of swimmers wandering

With snarling fangs upon the hillsides

They come forth from the midst of dust wrathfully

Beneath the dust veil in the accumulating dust

And when their blades are bared for their throats

They show the sharp edges of canine teeth

They carry the youths of calamity from Ja’far

Disheveled as if they are the black of thickets

And you see spears amidst them

And flies upon each growling tattered garment

They pasture the oozing of wounds as if they

In glory are the elite guards of the noble lords

Oh sons of dogs how can Ja’far be denied

And the clan of Dubyana present at the assembly

They killed the son of ‘Urwa then hastened without him

Until we judge them to answer

Between the son of Qutra and son of Hatik his throne

What generosity to a petitioner with address

A people whose excellence Madan knows

And truth is known by the wise
