أَلَم تَتَنَقَّثها اِبنَ قَيسِ بنِ مالِكٍ

وَأَنتَ صَفِيُّ نَفسِهِ وَسَجيرُها

Have you not made careful note of it, O son of Qais son of Malik,

While you are its trusted confidant and knowing companion?
