يا كلب مالك أم في بني أسد

معروفة فاحترق يا كلب في النارِ

O dog, you have no mother among Bani Asad

Well known, so burn, O dog, in the fire

لكن أمَّك من قوم شنئت بهم

قد قنعوك قناع الخزي والعارِ

But your mother is from a people I have reviled

They have clothed you in the garment of shame and disgrace
