فخري! بلغتَ المنى إِذْ تنتحي أُمَماً

في الغربِ حازوا قيادَ النَّفعِ والضَّررِ

My pride! You have attained your wish as you tower above nations

In the West they hold the reins of harm and benefit

همْ يمترونَ بأَنّا مثلهمْ فَأَبِنْ

لديهمُ أَننا جيلٌ من البشرِ

They think we are like them, so show

That to them we are a generation of mankind
