1. Yours, O Hafiza, are immortal glories;

    the years pass, while your memory is ever renewed.

  2. From the realm of the unseen, proudly behold

    a homeland where a memorial is raised to your memory:

  3. Your countless glorious deeds encompassed its quarters,

    and throughout them gratitude is all-embracing and manifold.

  4. Whoever is gone from those they love has, through it,

    now and ever after, a most praiseworthy remembrance,

  5. more enduring than embodied beings, though they pass away—

    a legacy whose every yesterday has a tomorrow.

  6. How excellent is the reward for the woman of guarded honor, who

    now rejoices in the recompense of both worlds.

  7. Glory be to Him who inspired you to the right; and thus

    within the spacious realms of both worlds, everlasting life is yours.
