مَقَامُكَ فَوْقَ مَا يَهِبُ الوِسَامُ

وَأوْسِمَة مَسَاعِيكَ الجِسَامُ

Your status is beyond what decorations bestow

And the decorations of your magnificent deeds

وَأَنْ يَتَبَاهَى بِالأَخْطَارِقُوْمٌ

فَحَسْبُكَ أَنَّكَ الفَرْدُ الهُمَامُ

That some people boast of dangers

Is enough for you that you are the unique hero

وَأَنَّكَ مُحْرِزٌ قَصَبَ المَعَالِي

بِحَيْثُ غَدَتْ ذُرَاهَا لا تُرَامُ

And that you have secured the highest glories

Where its peaks cannot be reached

وَأَنَّكَ إِنْ يَضَمْ لِلنَّاسِ جَار

فَجَارُكَ لا يَهُونُ وَلا يُضَامُ

And that you, if an equal comes to people

Your equal does not diminish or merge

أَضَفْتَ إِلَى التَّلِيدِ طَرِيفَ جَاهِ

وَقَلْبُكَ بِالمَحَامِدِ مُسْتَهَامُ

You added to heritage a fresh glory

And your heart is immersed in praises

وَحَيْثُ تَيَقَّظُوا لِلشَّيْنِ نَامَتْ

عَيُونُكَ عَنْهُ مَا كَرُمَ المَنَامُ

And where they awoke to disgrace, your eyes

Slept, for sleep is most generous
