يَا بَانِياتُ بالاتحَاد
مُسْتَقْبَلَ الخَيْرِ لِلْبِلاَد
O builders of unity
The future of good for the country
بُورِكَ الهُدَى وَحِ
زْبُ التقَى وَجَيْشُ الرشاد
Bless guidance and the party of piety and the army of righteousness
In this land it was embodied
فَي دَارِه هَذهِ تَجَلَّت
إِحْدَى مَبَرَّاتِهِ العَدَادِ
One of its great glories
What a high and lofty example
أَيُّ مِثَالٍ غال وَعَالٍ
لِلْصُدْقِ فِي الرَّأْيِ وَالجِّهَادِ
Of honesty in opinion and jihad
If the generous would emulate it from us
لَوْ يَحْتَذِيهِ الكِرَامُ مِنَا
لاَنْتَشَرَ العِلْمُ فِي السوَادِ
Knowledge would spread among the masses
Egypt is proud of ladies
مِصْرُ فخور بِسَيدَاتٍ
يَبْرَرنَ بِرا بِلاَ نَفَادِ
Who do good without exhaustion
They followed guidance resolutely
قدْ اتَّبعْنَ الهُدَى حِصَافاً
وَلَمْ يُبَالَيْنَ بِالعَوَادِي
And did not care about obstacles
Establishing for the people a generation
مُنْشِئَاتٌ لِلْشَّعبِ جِيلاً
يَنْمْو عَلَى أَقْوَمِ الْمَبَادِي
That grows on the most upright foundations
With knowledge and art reformers
بِالْعِلْمِ وَالْفَن مُصْلِحَاتٌ
مَا بَثهُ الجَّهلُ مِنْ فَسَاد
That dispelled the corruption of ignorance
Until the cities of East and West acclaimed
حَتَّى أَشَادَتْ بِفَضْلِ مِصْرَ
حَوَاضِرُ الشَّرْقِ وَالْبَوَادِي
The merit of Egypt
Our two queens, may God protect them
مَلِكَتَانَا يَرْعَاهُمَا اللهُ
أَوْلَتَانَا أَسْنَى الأيَادِي
Our two hands, the most generous
How the sun gladdened when its rising
مَا أَبْهَجَ الشَّمْسَ حِينَ يَجْلُو
طَلْعَتَهَا مَوْكِبُ الْغَوَادِي
Was celebrated by the caravan of nobles
And the best of its signs is the beauty
وَخَيْرُ آلائهَا جَمَالٌ
مِنْ أُفُقِ ذَاكَ الجَّلاَلِ بَادِ
From the horizon of that majesty
O the fortune of those ruled by the king
يَا سَعْدُ مَنْ سَاسَهُمْ مَلِيكٌ
لِشَعْبِهِ مُسْعِدٌ وَهَادِ
Who makes his people prosperous and guided
May our Farouk live long and reach
لِيَحْيَا فَارُوقنا وَيَبْلَغْ
مِنَ المَعَالِي أَسْمَى الْمُرَادِ
The highest aspirations
The East in his shade mighty
الشَّرْقُ فِي ظِلِّهِ عَزِيزٌ
وَالْمَجْدُ مَا شَاءَ فِي ازْدِيَادِ
And glory ever increasing
