1. يَا مُعِزَّ الحِمَى وَمُعْتِقَهُ بِالْـ

    ـخِطَّة القَصْدِ مِنْ هَوَانٍ وَرِقِّ

    O protector of the revered and liberator with

    The path of moderation, far from dishonor and vileness

  2. أَلْغَنِيُّ يَعْصِمُ الشُّعوبَ

    وَيَعْلِيهَا وَحِرْمَانُهَا يَذِلُّ وَيُشْقِي

    The generous protect the people

    And elevate them while their deprivation humiliates and makes them wretched

  3. رُمْتَ أَسْمَى الغَايَاتِ تُوفِي عَلَيْهَا

    بَالْحِسَابِ الأَجَلِّ أَوْ بِالأَرَقِّ

    You have attained the highest goals and fulfilled them

    With timeliness or vigilance

  4. فَإِذَا مِصْرُ فِي الصِّناعَاتِ

    وَالتَّصْريفِ لِلْمَالِ حَلْبَةٌ ذَاتَ سَبْقِ

    When Egypt excels in industries

    And commerce, it is an arena of precedence

  5. إِنْ يُكَافِئْكَ مَلِكُ مِصْرَ فَعَدْلٌ

    أَنْ يَكُونَ الثَّوَابُ وَفَقاً لِوَفِقِ

    If Egypt’s king rewards you equivalently, it is justice

    That the reward matches the deed

  6. قَبْلَ هَذَا اليَوْمِ الَّذِي طَرِبَتْ مِصْرُ

    لَهُ مَا شَهِدَتْ إِجْمَاعَ صُدْقِ

    Before this day when Egypt was elated

    For what it witnessed of unanimous truth

  7. هَذِهِ رِتْبَةٌ يَهْنَأُ مُهْدِيهَا

    وَمَنْ أَهْدِيَتْ إِلَيْهِ بِحَقِّ

    This is a rank whose guide prospers

    And whoever it is gifted to by right
