يَا طَبِيباً شَكَا فَكُلُّ عِليلٍ بَاتَ

يَرْجُو أَنْ يُرْفَعَ اللهُ كَعْبَكْ

O doctor, every ailing one complains

Hoping God will raise your status

شَفَّع اللهُ فِيكَ أَدْعِيَةَ الْقَوْمِ

وفِيهِمُ مِنْ قَبْلُ شَفَّع طِبَّكْ

May God make the people's prayers intercede for you

And make your medicine intercede for them beforehand
