She is Layla, servant of the Messiah, so speak
Of perfection, chastity, and her gentleness.
With a beautiful cheek upon which the morning arises
And gentleness that heals worries.
The best that goodness bears in the garden
Of a virtuous father and a free mother.
Our day was blessed when glory
Reached a family of generous people.
The day Layla was wed to the house of John
And the home of the beloved became a home of joy.
May they delight their eyes with a long life
And be a delight to all eyes.
And may Joseph continue to compose poems
Like a string of pearls, pearl after pearl.
