1. لِتَعِشْ وَصَفْوُ العَيْشِ غيرُ مَشُوبِ

    فريالُ بِكْرُ مَلِيكِنَا المَحْبُوبِ

    Live long with untainted life's beauty

    Our beloved little royal, so pure

  2. الطِّفلَةُ الملك الَّتي مِنْ مَهْدِهَا

    نَظَرَتْ إلى المَحْرُومِ وَالمَحْرُوبِ

    The infant princess who since her cradle

    Looked upon the deprived and hapless

  3. عِيدُ الأَميرةِ ضُوعِفَتْ بَهَجَاتُهُ

    وَالشَّعبُ منها آخِذٌ بِنَصِيبِ

    Her birthday festivities were subdued

    With people taking but a small share

  4. عَهْدٌ قَشِيبٌ يَوْمَ مَوْلِدِهَا بَدَا

    في أَيِّ ثَوْبٍ للحَيَاةِ قَشِيبِ

    An arid era it was when she was born

    In what garb has life donned its aridity

  5. كَمْ مِنْ مَعَاهِدَ وهْي تَشْرُفُ باسْمِهَا

    ضُمِنَ اطِّرَادُ نَجَاحِهَا المَطْلُوبِ

    Many pacts bear her name, ensuring

    The continuity of their wished success

  6. تُولي الضِّعَافَ مِنَ الْمَعُونَةِ مَا بِهِ

    كُلُّ الرِّضَى للرَّبِّ وَالمَرْبُوبِ

    She provides the weak all they need to live

    Content, well-provided by their Lord

  7. أَوْسَعْتَ يَا فَاروقُ شعبَكَ أَنْعُمَاً

    في ظِلِّ غَيْرِكَ لَمْ تُتَحْ لِشُعُوبِ

    O Farouk you blessed your people with bounty

    None could offer this open-handedness

  8. هَيْهَاتَ يَبْلُغُكَ المُلُوكُ تَطَوُّلاً

    لو قُورِنَ الموْهُوبُ بِالموْهُوبِ

    You so tower above other kings, none can reach you

    When the gifted's weighed against the gifted

  9. مَا يَنْقَعُونَ صَدىً بِرَشْحِ أَكَفِّهِمْ

    وَنَداكَ شُؤْبُوبٌ إلى شُؤْبُوبِ

    Their palms' applause has no resonance

    While yours is a stream flowing to stream

  10. يَا مَنْ بِفَارُوقَ ائْتَسَوْا فَتَنَافَسُوا

    فِي البِرِّ بَيْنَ نَجِيبَةٍ وَنَجِيبِ

    You who emulate Farouk, vying in virtue

    Between the noble daughter and noble son

  11. مِنْ كُلِّ مِسْمَاحٍ أَصِيلٍ رَأْيُهُ

    لَبِقٍ بِتَصْرِيفِ الزَّكَاةِ أَرِيبِ

    Sound of judgment, properly dispensing charity

    Chaste, dignified, faultless in her travels

  12. وَمَصُونَةٍ بِحَيائِهَا وَإِبَائِهَا

    سَفَرَتْ بِلاَ لَوْمٍ وَلاَ تَثْرِيبِ

    She gives orphans her handiwork forgiving

    The spinning, the pleasures of being young

  13. تُعْطِي اليَتَامَى وَالأَيَامَى غَزْلَهَا

    وَتَعِفُّ عَنْ غَزَلٍ وعن تَشْبِيبِ

    My lords, her scent is so sublime

    Her fragrance so graceful and sweet

  14. يَا سَادَتِي إِنِّي لأَشْهَدُ لَمْحَةً

    عُلْوِيَّة وَأَشَمُّ نَفْحَةَ طِيبِ

    Serve your failing people, so distraught

    Crying for help, their ruin profound

  15. أَعْظِمْ بِخِدْمَتِكُمْ لِشَعْبٍ عَاثِرٍ

    مُسْتَصْرِخٍ لِسَوَادِهِ المَنْكُوبِ

    Beware schisms fragment unity

    When good lies in bridging close the gap

  16. خَطَرُ الجَمَاعَةِ أَنْ يُبَاعَدَ بَيْنَهَا

    وَالْخَيْرُ كُلُّ الْخَيْرِ في التَّقْرِيبِ

    Repel the harm of discord and you'll win

    The rewards of the noble peacemaker

  17. إِنْ تَدْفَعُوا شَرَّ الخَصَاصَةِ فُزْتُمُ

    في عَاجِلٍ بِثَوَابِ خَيْرِ مُثِيبِ

    Saving this honest land and its people

    From the blows of a threatening fate

  18. وَوَقَيْتُمُ البَلَدَ الأَمِينَ وَأَهْلَهُ

    غَدَرَاتِ دَهْرٍ مُنْذِرٍ بِخُطُوبِ

    Aid the poor and make right their affairs

    Tomorrow, grim, will be taxing indeed

  19. وَاسُوا الفَقِيرَ وَأَصْلِحُوا مِنْ شَأْنِهِ

    أَوْلاَ فَإِنَّ غَداً لَجِدُّ مُرِيبِ

    Redeem the children, in body and manners

    With learning, with teaching what's meet

  20. وَتَدَارَكُوا الأَطُفَالَ بِالسَّبَبَيْنِ من

    تَصْحِيحِ أبْدَانٍ وَمِنْ تَهْذِيبِ

    Thus Egypt will thrive, living secure

    From hardship, in peace and tranquility

  21. فَبِذَاكَ تَبْلُغُ مِصْرُ مَا يُبْغَى لَهَا

    فِي العَيْشِ مِنْ سَعَةٍ وَأَمْنِ كُرُوبِ

    General welfare outpaces all steps

    On lush grounds for workers made green

  22. وَرَفَاهَةُ الطَّبقَات تَسْتَبِقُ الخُطَى

    فِي مَرْتَعٍ لِلْعَامِلِينَ خَصيَبِ

    O Lord, protect Farouk, and answer his prayers

    Egypt calls You, for You answer hopes best

  23. يَا رَبِّ صُنْ فاروقَ وَاكلأْ بَيْنَهُ

    تَدْعُوكَ مِصْرُ وأَنتَ خَيْرُ مُجِيبِ
