هِيَ نِعْمَةٌ لِلْبيعَةِ الصُّغْرَى وَقدْ

حَظِيَتْ بِطَلْعَةِ أَكْبَرِ الأَحْبَارِ

It is a blessing for the lesser ordination, and it has

Been graced with the rising of the greatest scholar.

قَدْ زَارهَا مُتَفَضِّلاً فَتَكَامَلَتْ

فِي عِيدِهَا أَسْبَابُ الاسْتِبْشَارِ

He has visited it generously, so it was perfected

On its feast, the means of rejoicing were completed.

عِيدُ الشَّفِيعِ الحَيِّ مَارَى جُرجُسْ

بَطَلُ الجِهَادِ الفَارِسِ الْمِغْوَارِ

The feast of the living intercessor, Saint George,

The brave knight of struggle, armed and prepared.

فَلْيَحْيَا مَكْسِيمُوس بَطْرِيقُ الهُدَى

تَاجاً لِهَامَةِ شَعْبِهِ الْمُخْتَارِ

So may Maximuos the patriarch of guidance live,

A crown on the head of his chosen people.

وَيُبَارِكُ المَوْلَى لَهُ فِي عَهْدِهِ

وَيَدُمْ مَآثِرُهُ عَلَى الأَدْهَارِ

And may the Lord bless him during his reign,

And may his achievements last through the ages.
