    O redeemed King, congratulations

On Egypt's and her people's accession day

May God protect you with auspicious success

    Dispelling misfortunes on your way

Comforting and soothing her folk, their sadness undone

Restoring cheer to their sullen dismay

To watering places of purity you've led them anew Sweetly sipped from each proffered carouse

You've drawn her swords, guarding her eminence proud

With armor and helmets and bright metal joust

Her council you've shielded, its glory prevails

With wisdom, consent of each measure discussed

Yours is command gladly obeyed by all eyes

That fill up their orbits, each head and each brow

No crown in her passions compares to your own

No throne in all hearts rises higher than thou

Long life without limit, may you reign

In splendor that clothes you with glory espoused
