حَيِّ الأَمِيرَةَ رَبَّة النَّسبِ

حَيِّ الأَمِيرَةَ رَبَّة الْحَسَبِ

Greetings to the princess, noble of lineage

Greetings to the princess, virtuous of repute

حَيِّ الَّتي انْتَظَمَتْ فَوَاصِلُهَا

فِي الْبِرِّ شَمْلَ الْعَجْمِ وَالْعَرَبِ

She whose virtues have brought together

Arabs and non-Arabs in righteousness

حَيِّ الَّتي أخَذَتْ مَنَاقِبُهَا

عَنْ خَيْرِ وَالِدَةٍ وَخَيْرِ أَبِ

She who inherited the merits

From the best of mothers and fathers

وَأَعَزِّ جِدٍّ شَادَ مَمْلَكةٌ

سَامَى بِهَا العُلْيَا مِنَ الشُّهُبِ

And the most honorable grandfather who established

A kingdom, with it the highest stars were attained

يَا مَنْ هَوَاهَا مَجْدُ أُمَّتِهَا

مَهْمَا يُجَشِّمهَا مِنَ الْنَّصبِ

O she who is loved by the glory of her nation

No matter how many hardships assail her

مَا يَبْلَغُ الْمَدَّاحُ مِنْ شِيَمٍ

أَكْمَلْتِهَا بِالْعِلْمِ وَالأدَبِ

The eulogizer cannot reach the extent of her virtues

That you have perfected with knowledge and literature

جَاوَزْتِ آَمَالَ العُفَاةِ بِمَا

تَسْدِينَهُمْ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَا طَلَبَ

You have surpassed the hopes of the chaste with what

You give them without their asking

فَإِلَيْكِ شُكْرُهُمْ وَأَجْمَلُهُ

طَيِّ القُلُوبِ وَلَيْسَ فِي الكُتُبِ

To you is their thanks and most beautiful

Expression, which hearts contain but books do not

وَإِلَيْكِ أَدْعِيَةُ النُّفوسِ بِأَنْ

تَحْيِي مُعْظَّمةً مَدَى الحُقُبِ

And to you are the souls' prayers that

You live honored for eons to come

وَبِأَنْ تُثَابِي عَنْ نَدَاكِ وَمَنْ

يَقْرِضْ جَمِيلاً رَبَّه يَثِبِ

And that you be rewarded for your benevolence, and whoever

Does good, his Lord will reward
