أَنَا لاَ أَخَافُ وَلاَ أُرَجِّي

فَرَسِي مُؤَهَّبَةٌ وَسَرْجِي

فَإِذَا نَبَا بِيَ مَتْنُ برٍّ

فَالمَطِيَّةُ بَطْنُ لُجِّ

So when the course of fate draws near

The open desert is my refuge

لاَ قَوْلَ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ لِي

قَوْلٌ وَهَذا النَّهْجُ نَهْجِي

I speak no words except the truth

This is my creed, my way

أَلْوَعْدُ والإيعَادُ مَا كَانَا

لَدَيَّ طَرِيقَ فُلْجِ

Neither promise nor threat restrain me
