هَذِهِ تُحْفَةُ الرِّيَاضِ إِلى مَنْ

فَاحَ فِي الشَّرْقِ طِيبُهَا وَتَأرَّجْ

This is the gift of Riyadh to whom

its fragrance has spread in the East and diffused

هِيَ بَيْنَ الْحِسَانِ زَهْرَةُ أُنْسٍ

حُسْنُهَا بِالْحَيَاءِ مِنْهَا مُسَيَّجْ

It is amidst beauty a flower of companionship

Its beauty is veiled in shyness like violets

وَعَجِيبٌ جَمْعُ المُهَيْمِنِ فِيهَا

عِزَّةَ الوَرْدِ وَاتِّضَاعَ الْبَنَفْسَجْ

And wondrous is the union in it

Of the majesty of the rose and the humility of the violet
