يَا رَجَاءَ الوَطَنِ

وَضِيَاءَ الأَعْيُنِ

O hope of the nation,

And brightness of eyes,

إِنْ يَكُ البَدْرُ اسْتَوَى

فَوْقَ عَرْشٍ فُكَنِ

If the full moon rises,

Above the throne, so be it.

مِصْرُ جَاءَتْ وَبِهَا

بِالوَلاءِ البَينِ

Egypt has come with

Clear loyalty.

إِنَّهَا نَهْوَاهُ فِي

سِرِّهَا وَالعَلَنِ

She has forbidden it

In secret and openly.

غَفَرَ اللهُ بِهِ

سَيِّئَاتِ الزَّمَنِ

May God forgive through it

The evils of time,

وَنَفَى عَنْهَا بِهِ

طَارِئَاتِ المِحَنِ

And dispel through it

The calamities of trials.

مَاذَا المِنَنْ

مِنْ غَيْرِ حَصْرِ

What favors without limit!

Support and protect

أَيِّدْ وَصُنْ

فَارُوقَ مِصْرِ

Farouk of Egypt.

Dew flows

يَدْفُقُ النَّدَى

مِنْ يَمِينِهِ

From his right hand,

Guidance shines

يَشْرُقُ الهُدَى

مِنْ جَبِينِهِ

From his forehead,

So his glory remains

لِيَدُمْ جُدُّهُ

عَالِياً سَرْمَدَا

Everlasting,

And his reign endures

وَيَطُلْ عَهْدُهُ

مَا يَطُولُ المَدَى

As time stretches on.
