1. هبت الشامُ على عاداتها

    تملأ الأرضَ شباباً حَنِقا

    Sham has returned to its ways

    Filling the earth with indignant youth

  2. نادباً بيتاً أباحوا قُدْسَهُ

    في فِلَسْطينَ . وشملاً مِزَقا

    Mourning a sanctified home they violated

    In Palestine. And a ripped garment

  3. بَرَّ بالعهد رجالٌ أُنُفٌ

    أخذ الشعبُ عليهم مَوْثقا

    Men of integrity broke the covenant

    The people took a pledge against them

  4. شرَفاً يومَ فِلسطينَ فقد

    بلغ القِمَّةَ هذا المرتقى

    Honor, the day Palestine was lost

    Reached the summit of this ascent

  5. ألبس الملكَ رداءً وازدهت

    روعةُ التاريخِ منه رَوْنقا

    Adorning the king with a gown, the awe

    Of history was embellished by it

  6. اسمعي يا جِلَّقٌ !! إن دماً !

    في فِلَسْطينَ هضيماً نطقا

    Hear me, o Golan! A blood

    In Palestine grievously speaks

  7. عربياً سال من أفئدةٍ

    عربياتٍ تلظت حُرَقا

    Arab blood shed from Arab hearts

    Burned with anguish

  8. صبغ الأرضَ وألقى فوقها

    من فداءٍ وإباءٍ شفقا

    Dying the earth and bestowing upon it

    Sacrifice and refusal's tenderness

  9. تَحْمِلُ الريحُ إلى أرجائها

    من زكّياتِ الضحايا عَبَقا

    The wind carries to its corners

    The fragrance of the martyrs' grace

  10. اسمعي يا جلقٌ !! إن دما !

    في فِلَسْطينَ ينادي جِلَّقا

    Hear me, O Golan! A blood!

    In Palestine calling for Golan

  11. اسمعي : هذا دمٌ شاءت له

    نخوةٌ مهتاجةٌ أنْ يُهْرقا

    Hear: this is a blood that noble

    Ardor willed to be spilled

  12. شدَّ ما احتاجت إلى أمثاله

    أممٌ يُعوِزُها أن تُعْتَقا

    How much nations lacking it

    Needed the likes to be liberated

  13. شاهدٌ عدلٌ على الظلم إذا

    كَذَبَ التارِيخُ يوماً صدقا

    An honest witness to injustice if

    History ever lied truthfully

  14. احملي ما اسطَعْتِ من حبّاته

    واجعليها لعيونٍ حَدَقا

    Bear what beads of it you can

    And make them eyes that stared

  15. يسقطُ الطفْلُ على والده

    وارداً موردَه معتنِقا

    The child falls upon his father

    Embracing his place affectionately

  16. وتمر الأمُّ غضبى ساءها

    في سباق مِثلِهِ أن تُسبَقا

    The angry mother passes in a race

    Like it though unable to surpass

  17. نَسَقٌ للموت لم نسمعْ به

    ليتنا نَعْرِفُ هذا النسقا

    An order of death we never heard of

    Would that we know this order

  18. هكذا تُعْلِنُ صرعى أمةٍ

    أن شعباً من جديدٍ خُلِقا

    Thus proclaim the dead of a nation

    That a people anew was created
