Sol 6.1

  1. O Bahariyya, rise and stir up sorrows;

    and hasten the wailing with your tears.

  2. And indeed, those around Malik bowed low,

    from Egypt to the palaces of Oman.

  3. Rabi'a said when Malik died:

    "No loss is greater than the loss of Abu Ghassan."

  4. And indeed, I left the sons of al-Zubayr in a predicament:

    they followed neither obedience nor authority.
