    so the heart nearly split asunder.

    for which the two oarsmen had raised the sail.

    the hands of a left-handed woman who had drawn up her veil.

  6. Abd al-Aziz rose to the heights of honor,

    and surpassed all people in generosity and reach.

  7. Are you not the son of the leaders of Quraysh,

    and the most open-handed among them in noble deeds?

  8. For al-Walid charged a man of steadfast loyalty,

    so he neither forgot the charge nor neglected it.

  9. When departure presses upon us and we set out,

    then we ask the Lord of Majesty to let us benefit from you.
