Does the thirsty wanderer find relief
In a drink of cool water to end his grief?
"No," she said, "for if we let you drink
You may betray us, our secrets leak."
So by death I am claimed, by the sword I am maimed
To my fate I am led, though I meant no offense
Woe to she who shows kindness but hides veiled pretense
Yet my love for you all remains true and intense
