Do not surrender me, O spring, to her
I used to see myself before her confident in you
A prisoner's intent contradicts a village
An Arabian's intent smells of lightning
So either you see me today at the top of a lofty mountain
For I have become violent, leading a bare, unsheathed sword
And I may startle the frightened wildlife with a frown
And I may wound the cheeks of the bashful with kisses
Delicate beauties reveal themselves on pure mounts
Exuding fragrance, myrtle, jasmine and anemones
