كَأنَّ المُدامَ وصَوْبَ الغَمَامِ
وَرِيحَ الخْزَامَى وذَوْبَ العَسَلْ
As though the wine and clouds' drifting veil
And scent of spring and honey's runny trail
يُعَلُّ بِهِ بَرْدُ أنْيَابِهَا
إذَا النَّجْمُ وَسْطَ السَّماءِ اسْتَقَلْ
Her teeth's cold bites it lifts and sets aflame
When the star centers in the skies its claim
