O Hind do not marry an idiot
On his nape still soft hair grows
His legs splay outwards when he walks
Seeking with glee a running hare
To place his ankles in its stead
Beware or else get injured
I’m no coward to just sit around
Nor a show-off acting proud
I'm not a sniveling weakling
Who'd befriend just anyone
My youth proclaimed I’m still in my prime
Before old age makes me decline
And though she’s dark as darkest night
Blanketing hips and shoulders alike
