1. هاجر أَمنا وَلود رَؤوم

    لا حَسود وَلا عَجوز عَقيم

    Hagar, a merciful mother though barren and aged,

    Hagar from whom came the noble Arab and the honored prophet.

  2. هاجر أمنا وَمنها أَبو العر

    ب وَمِنها ذاكَ النَبي الكَريم

    A lineage unsoiled, untouched by Babylon's iniquity, O ignoble foundling!

    The blood in our veins remains unweakened by Pharaoh's whip and painful torture.

  3. نَسب لَم يَضع وَلا مزقته

    بابل أَيُّها اللقيط اللَئيم

    History knows which pyramids of Egypt are inscribed in its rocks,

    Pyramids in whose shade lies servitude to you with no remorse.

  4. وَدُم في عُروقنا لَم يُرقه

    سَوط فَرعون وَالعَذاب الأَليم

    O rabbis, veil your faces lest your broken noses be seen.

    Tell me, Jew, from whom did you learn the Torah? Has learning passed you by?

  5. يَعلم الدَهر أَيّ أهرام مصرٍ

    ذَلّكم في صُخوره مَرقوم

    Among its pages much is hidden from you, its disgraceful beginning and end.

    Your father sold Joseph. Love of money in you is an ancient trait.

  6. هَرم خالد يَغشّيه ظل

    مِن عُبودية لَكُم لا تَريم

    You rejected God's blessings until Moses, the determined, was sorely tried by your disbelief.

    The wilderness bore witness that you, the Israelites, were sinful people from the start.

  7. أي رئوبين غطِّ وَجهك حَتّى

    لا يُرى الأَنف أَنهُ مَهشوم

    The golden calf bears witness that the tablets were smashed the day you went astray.

    History's secrets harbor the strange and wondrous markings of your shame.

  8. يَا يَهوديُّ كَيفَ علمك بالتو

    راة قُل لي أَم فاتَكَ التَعليم

    O rabbis, where are Moses' tablets and commandments, all so upright?

    The ten decrees you rejected totally while straying confused in the wilderness.

  9. بَينَ أَسفارها خَلائق عَنكُم

    مبتداها وَمُنتهاها ذَميم

    You broke their rules so that money became your god, filling his place.

    Usurious gain is your idol, forever grasping and covetous.

  10. يوسف باعَهُ أَبوكم يَهوذا

    إِنَّ حُب الدينار فيكُم قَديم

    The Sabbath to you means plotting and deceit. Where is its sanctity and glorification?

    You distorted its verses so that murder was sanctioned and moral corruption spread among you.

  11. وَكَفرتم بِنعمة اللَه حَتّى

    ضاقَ ذَرعاً بِالكفر موسى الكَليم

    In your ignorance, you denied the rights of your neighbor, crying, "Our rights are violated!"

    All of you bear false witness; has any prohibition concerning this come to you?

  12. شهد التيه أَنَكم شَعب إِسرا

    ئيلَ شَعبٌ مُنذُ الخُروج أَثيم

    May God not bless you! Surely a determined devil leads you astray.

    If the stars themselves turned to stones and cast them down on you, by God, such would be your just punishment.

  13. يَشهد العجل أَن أَلواح موسى

    يَوم زغتم أَصابَها التَحطيم

    O rabbi, what people do you summon? Surely a wise Lord has destroyed them.

    O rabbi, have you read Shakespeare? Yes, you are an ill-omened poet.

  14. وَبُطون التاريخ فيها عَجيب

    وَغَريب بعاركم موسوم

    Yet immortal Shakespeare exposed your people's deeds - that is widely known.

    But those of you who are Shakespeares have forgotten what that great one said.

  15. أَي رئوبين أَينَ أَلواح موسى

    وَالوَصايا فَكلهن قَويم

    O Jew, have you heard of a people scattered aimlessly through every land?

    Your people are like insects swarming filthily everywhere.

  16. هُن عشر نبذتموها جَميعاً

    وَرتعتم في الغَي وَهُوَ وَخيم

    How strange that the judged should seek judgment, their fate sealed!

    How odd that the dispersed should seek unity, their diaspora ordained!

  17. وَنَقَضتُم أَحكامها فَإِذا الما

    ل مَقام الإِلَه فيكُم يَقوم

    God's wrath still rages against you while Balfour's promise lies broken.

    Summon your heroes hiding behind shutters - are they not apes?

  18. وَالربا رَبكم لَهُ صَنَم الحر

    ص مِثالٌ أَنتُم عَلَيهِ جثوم

    They watch our children craftily. If the little ones come close, the "heroes" shoot them dead, utterly ruthless.

    In their hands, the arms of a people on which a lion lies emblazoned.

  19. وَإِذا السبت فيه مكر وَغدر

    أَين فيهِ التَقديس وَالتَعظيم

    Call them to bombard and scream, "O defenseless, oppressed people of Zion!"

    Curse the English but don't deny their favor - that would be ungracious.

  20. وَعَكستم آياتها فَإِذا القَت

    ل مُباح وَالفسقُ فيكُم عَميم

    The milk of the land has turned to venom and blood. Attack her! Stand your ground!

    Drink your fill, for this is how ravenous wolves lap their drink.

  21. فَجَهلتم حَق الجوار وَصحتم

    أَيُّها الناس حقنا مَهضوم

    O Jew, may you know no peace, and if you wish, no rest either.

  22. كُلكم شاهد عَلى الحَق زوراً

    هَل أَتاكُم مِن شَأنِهِ تَحريم

  23. حسبكم لا يُبارك اللَهُ فيكُم

    إِن شَيطان بغيكُم لَرَجيم

  24. فَلو أَنَّ النُجوم أَمسَت رجوماً

    ما عدتكم وَاللَه تِلكَ الرجوم

  25. أَي رئوبين أَي شَعب تُنادي

    إِن رَبّاً أَباده لَحَكيم

  26. أَي رئوبين هَل قَرَأت شكسبي

    ر بَلى أَنتَ شاعر مَشئوم

  27. وَشكسبير خالد القَوم فيكُم

    أَمر شيلوخ في الوَرى مَعلوم

  28. غَير أَن الَّذين مِنهُم شكسبي

    ر تَناسوا ما قالَ ذاكَ العَظيم

  29. يا يَهوديّ هَل سَمعتَ بِشَعب

    ضَلَّ حَتّى في كُلِ قُطرٍ يَهيم

  30. شَعبكم كَالذباب في كُلِ أَرض

    مِنهُ شَيء عَلى القذور يَحوم

  31. وَعَجيب مِن العَجائب أَن يَط

    لب حُكماً وَدَهرَهُ مَحكوم

  32. وَغَريب مِن الغَرائب أَن يَج

    مع شَملاً شِتاته مَحتوم

  33. غَضَبُ اللَه ما يَزال عَلَيكُم

    وَعد بلفورَ دونَهُ مَهزوم

  34. نادِ أَبطالك الَّذين تَواروا

    في الشَبابيك إِنَّهُم لقروم

  35. يَرقبون الأَطفال مِنا فَإِن لا

    حوا رَموهم فَهالك وَكَليم

  36. في يَديهُم سِلاح قَوم عَلَيه

    أَسَدٌ في حَديده مَختوم

  37. نادِهم يَقذِفوا القَنابل وَاِصرَخ

    شَعب صَهيون أَعزَل مَظلوم

  38. وَالعن الأنكليز وَاحمل ظباهم

    إِن نَكران فَضلهم لَجَسيم

  39. لبن الأَرض فاضَ سماً زَعافاً

    وَدَماً فَاِنزلوا بِها وَأَقيموا

  40. وَاِشرَبوه ملء البُطون هَنيئاً

    هَكَذا تَشرب الذِئاب الهيم

  41. يا يَهودي لا عَليك سَلامٌ

    وَإِذا شئت لا عَلَيك شلوم
