تعوي الذئاب به وتأتمر

Nothing remains but desolate grief,

Howled over by wolves who command it.

هو مسرح وانفض ملعبه

لم يبق لا عينٌ ولا أثر

It is a theater whose stage is folded.

No eyes or traces left.

صحبٌ مضوا وأحبةٌ هجروا

Friends gone and loved ones departed.

عبروا بها صوراً فمذ عبروا
