Today from you I learned the secret of my existence

And from your meaning I understood the meaning of celebration

I was not ephemeral and your secret was my keeper

And in your eyes I secured all my eternity

Now I know what life is and its goodness

And I say to the days you were good so welcome back

Spring has returned by your hand and

My soul shone and my lute sprouted leaves in your spring, welcome back
