وَإِذا دَعَوت أَخا يَزي

نُك عِند نائِبَة تَنوب

When you call a dear brother of yours

To help you in time of adversity

أَلفَيتَه إِحدى الخطو

بِ إِذا تَتابَعَت الخُطوب

You find him taking one of two steps:

Either he is totally deaf or he deliberately ignores.
