    You fancy the earth was spread out here just for you

    And drifting clouds made, just for your sake, to roam

  5. وأن النجوم الزهر علن زينة

    تقر بها الألحاظ وهي هوائم

    You think the stars shine as mere decoration

    To delight your eyes - yet all this is transient

  6. فما لكم لا تنظمون نثيرها

    فيصبح منها حليكم والتمائم

    Why then don't you make these ornaments your necklaces?

    To adorn yourselves at dawn with glittering jewels?
