إِنَّ الحبيبَ مَلالاً

قد صارَ يأْتي لِمَامَا

The beloved has become

One who comes to Mama

وعاد بالهجر والصـ

ـدِّ هائماً مستهاما

And returns with estrangement and rejection

Wandering, confused

هذا فكم قلت فيه

أَما ترى ما ترامى

So much have I said about him

Do you not see what is apparent
