قامَ بلا عَقْلٍ وَلا دِينِ

يَخْلِطُ تَصْفيقا بتَأْذِينِ

He arose without reason or religion

Mixing applause with adhan

فَنبَّهَ الأَحبابَ منْ نَوْمِهمْ

لِيَخْرُجُوا مِن غيْر ما حِينِ

Awakening friends from their sleep

So they come out without appointment

بِصَرْخةٍ تبْعَثُ مَوْتى الكَرى

قدْ أَذْكَرَتْ نفْخَ سَرافِينِ

With a scream that revives the dead

It reminded of the blowing of seraphim

كأَنَّها في حَلْقِهِ غُصَّةٌ

أَغَصَّهُ اللهُ بسِكيِّنِ

As if there is a lump in his throat

May God choke him with a knife
