1. وَأَخشَمَ إن مَثَّلتَ فَاهُ وَأَنفَهُ

    فَإنَّهُمَا ضَِدَّانِ لِلمِسكِ وَالنَّدِّ

    Though you liken his mouth and nose to musk and ambergris,

    They are but opposites to perfume and soft scent.

  2. لَهُ نَكهَةٌ بَخرَاءُ بَعد انتِشَاقِهَا

    تَصَدَّعَ مُجتَازُ الذُّبَابِ عَلَى بُعدِ

    The exhalation from them has a pungent odor when dispersed,

    Repelling the flies from afar.
