Your eyes gave the devil access to my heart
Eyes are indeed the devils' allies
How many nights have I spent curled up in burning agony
Complaining to the stars until they almost pitied me
What a beautiful gazelle that I'm infatuated with
What character is not infatuated with a beautiful gazelle
His smile reveals shoots of pearls from his lips
Called the like of the flowers of oranges
And two cheeks that are like apples on my face
So leave me be and the apples of gardens
The charm of your eyes seduces me and commands me
And the rose of your cheeks tempts me and entices me
Surely if I sell my religion for you
And buy the world with it, I would not have sold my religion for less
I ask God for forgiveness, no by God the verses of Yaseen were of no benefit
In the magic of his eyelash against me
Glory to Him who created all things flawlessly
You see He molded that body from clay
O people of patience, and friends of yours
If you have patience then console me
I profess the religion of love to you and it rules me
And God has said "No compulsion in religion"
My Master, do not let the enemies gloat over me, and if
You forget my words, then remember what Harun said
Hold your passion accountable for what I spent of my life
By God, even if my life was Qarun's treasure
If I owned myself, oh you who torments it
I would have offered it to you as one of the offerings
