By your Lord, if you head towards Najd, my friend
Then stop over there, describing for me intensity and fervor
And lodge with tents over there on the sand dunes
In them are gazelles that hunt the roaming lion
If your eyes see Hind and her sand dunes
Say to them both, by Allah you broke the promise
Were you not the ones who gave me covenants
That you will not violate the pact for us
So why have its passions become deserted
And the knot of love is untied
If they both swore a sinner's oath
That they never betrayed any affection for me
Then say to them, it is enough that you both
Concealed from the obsessed lover your secret intentionally
So do not gain sin, may Allah forgive you
In any case, we will not ridicule you for loss
By my soul, I crave a Hind from afar and intend
Even if after her I accustomed a land
