لَيسَ اِحمرارُ لحاظه عن علَّةٍ

لكن دمُ القَتلى على الأَسيافِ

The redness of his cheeks is no defect

Rather, it is the blood of the slain on swords

قالوا تشابَه طرفُه وَبنانُه

وَمن البَديع تشابُه الأَطرافِ

They said his glance and his build are similar

And similar features are wonderfully poetic
