زُرتُها يَوماً فَقالَت

وافِني من قبل تُدرَك

I visited her one day, and she said:

"Come to me before you are overtaken;"

مُذ كَشفتُ الستر نادَت

يا جَميلَ السِتر سِترك

Since I unveiled the veil she called out:

"O beautiful one, your veil is your cover."
