My sleep on the bed is disturbed

And the night with it has no decrease

Of mosquitoes that shriek and buzz

Swiftly swarming, not pausing to appease

They make my blood their wine, sipping all night

Extracting from me more than I can lease

So you see the mosquito singing with his fiddle

As the bedbug drinks and the flea dances with glee
