1. نفوسُنا بالرّجاءِ مُمْتَسَكَهْ

    والموتُ للخلق ناصبٌ شَرَكَهْ

    Our souls cling to hope

    And death lays traps for all creatures

  2. تبرمُ أجسامنا وتنقضها

    طبائعٌ في المزاج مشتركه

    Our bodies decay and fall apart

    Due to our shared nature

  3. لولا انتشاقُ الهوا لمتّ كما

    تموتُ مع فَقْدِ مائها السمكه

    Without the breath of life we would die

    Like fish lacking water

  4. نُنْشأُ بالبعث بعد ميتتنا

    أما يُعيدُ الزجاجَ مَن سبَكه

    We are resurrected after death

    Can broken glass be reforged?

  5. ما أغفلَ الفيلسوف عن طُرُقٍ

    ليستْ لأهل العقول منسلكه

    No philosopher overlooks a path

    That cannot be tread by reasonable people

  6. مَن سَلّمَ الأمرَ للإله نجا

    ومن عدا القصد واقعَ الهلكه

    Whoever submits to God is saved

    And whoever strays from the path is doomed
