ذاتِ زهرٍ فيه البنفسج والنر

جس معه شقائق النعمان

With violets and narcissi

And red anemones

جالسٌ في تبظرمٍ ترك الحا

سد يقلى بعر آسته بوراني

Sitting in serenity, leaving behind

The envious burning in the fires of jealousy
